40 kids quarantined after nurse tests +ve for COVID-19 in Kerala

In a shocking turn of events, around 40 children in Ernakulam, Kerala have admitted to a quarantine center after a nurse tested positive for COVID-19. It was junior public health nurse at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Chowara, who tested positive for Covid-19 , and consequently shifted to isolation ward.
It was on last Wednesday that the the nurse started showing symptoms of the disease and on the same day, she took care of 40 children. Consequently, the children and their families were quarantined.
Most of the people who quarantined are from Sreemoolanagaram area in Kalady, a report said. The nurse’s husband was also tested positive for COVID-19 and it is reported that his contact list was being prepared by the health officials in the state.
