Air India Announces Additional Flights Between Delhi And Adelaide

Indian national carrier Air India on Wednesday announced additional flights between Delhi and Adelaide, Australia on 29th October 2020.

According to a tweet by the airline, they will carry only limited passengers respecting quarantine restrictions by Australian Authorities.

Booking will open today at 1500H(IST) through AI website,booking offices and call centre.
Earlier, the airline has operated two flights between India and Australia on 17th & 21st October 2020 under VBM.

The Australian government has already announced repatriation flights from Delhi,London and Johannesburg. According to the report, the flag carrier Qantas will repatriate 175 Australian passengers from each cities to Australia and the passengers need to take 14-day quarantine, most in an old mining camp outside Darwin.

With the calls increasing for bringing home the stranded Australians abroad, Prime Minister Scott Morrison had announced on Friday that Australia would allow a few hundred more citizens and permanent residents to return home from overseas each week.
