Health benefits of Sprouts

Sprouts are germinated seeds of legumes or grains. They are considered a healthy and desirable because of their high nutritional value. Sprouts contain an increased concentration of nutrients like Vitamin E, Potassium, iron, phytochemicals, antioxidants, bioflavonoids, chemoprotectants and protein.

Sprouted grains have numerous health benefits due to its high nutrient content compared to matured vegetables. These nutrients include folate, iron, vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, and protein. Sprouted grains also have lesser contents of starch, thus making it easier to digest when compared to the regular grains.
