Indians Can Now Fly to the US, UK, Canada, UAE on Any Visa

In a letter to DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation has confirmed that Indian citizens can now travel to the US,UK, Canada and UAE on any valid visa under the bilateral Air Bubble agreement.As per the decision , tourist, business, student and transit visa holders can now travel to these countries.
Up until now, only citizens holding special residency status in these countries, or those on select, long-stay visas, were permitted to fly out.

However, the Indian government has not permitted all visa holders to arrive to India. It has confirmed that only certain essential visa holders can enter India.

According to a report, the focus of the government is to airlift as many stranded Indians either on Vande Bharat Mission or using the flights under the bilateral air bubble agreement.

As of now India had ‘air bubble’ arrangements with the the USA, UK, France, Germany , UAE and Kuwait.Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had earlier announced that he bilateral air bubbles could carry a possible number of people but under defined conditions as countries are still imposing entry restrictions including India.
