Kapil Dev Hospitalized

India’s legendary 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev has been admitted at Fortis Hospital ,in South Delhi’s Okhla for heart problems, according to news agency ANI.

Journlist Teena Thacker confirmed this news on twitter as she wrote:

“Legendary cricketer Kapil Dev @therealkapildev suffers heart attack, undergoes angioplasty at a hospital in Delhi. Wishing him a speedy recovery.”

Being considered as one of the bests in the game of cricket, Kapil Dev led the 1983 Indian team to World Cup victory at Lords.He made his debut for India against Pakistan in Quetta on October 1, 1978. Kapil Dev is considered as one of the finest all rounders in the history of the game and represented India for well over a decade.
