Kerala launches sightseeing bus service to enjoy Munnar

The Kerala state Transport Corporation has kicked off sightseeing bus service in Munnar, one of the most sought-after hill stations in Kerala.

According to Kerala transport Minister AK Saseendran, the state commenced the sightseeing services as a New Year gift to tourists visiting Munnar.

According to the sources, the bus service will start from Munnar depot at 9 am. The service will cover the Top Station, Eco-point, Kundala Dam, Mattuppetty and Flower Garden. The bus will return to the depot by 4 pm.

A fee of Rs.250 will be charged per person for one day safari.

Those who make use of accommodation facilities which was started by K.S.R.T.C, have to pay the daily rent of Rs. 100/ birth. One gets a sheet and a pillow for an additional RS 50 and Rs 20 respectively.

The occupancy timing is calculated from 4 pm to 11 am,” said a KSRTC official, claiming that Covid-19 guidelines are strictly followed, a report said.
