Once a runaway child, he now saves the lives of thousands of children who left their homes

S. Hariharan, founder of Pace Setters, crores worth organization, which provides call center services to the country’s mainstream firms was a runaway school boy. Today, Samatol Foundation, a street children foundation founded by Hariharan takes care of thousands of children who left their homes.

So far, Samatol Foundation has revived the lives of about 28,000 street children who were estranged from their kin due to various reasons.

After spotting the runaway children across Maharashtra, the Samatol Foundation provided them adequate care and counselling and sent back them safely to their homes. The Foundation also provides free education and housing to children who do not wish to go back to their homes.

After finding that most of the children who were spotted at various railway stations across Maharashtra were drug addicts, Samatol Foundation also started a rehabilitation center in Kalyan for healing such children and bringing them back to life.

Recently, Hariharan visited the PMG  Higher Secondary School, Palakkad where he completed his primary education. It is from here that Hariharan ran away first at the age of 15. Later, he came back and pursued his studies. Although he once again left his home as he was pursuing his B.com in Victoria College, he managed to obtain commerce degree and masters in management later.

Now he is owning a ‘crores worth’ organization.

It is Malayala Manorama, that published Hariharan’s inspirational story first.
