Post work-out recipes

Workout has become an inevitable part of the modern life. It is not just health consciousness that has led to this increased interest in workout but rather the social image which has body shape as an important element. Lack of proper knowledge and healthy practices can make workout have an adverse effect on health. If there is a lack of energy in the body, it would be compensated by synthesizing the proteins in the muscles thus having an adverse effect on the body. Instead of the adorable body shape that you dreamt of, you would then end up in an ugly shape. So it is imperative to have nutritious food so as to compensate the energy lost through workout. Including proper items in the diet will help preventing this issue.

Dairy Foods
Skimmed dairy food products are good sources of protein and energy. These are easy to digest and are easily absorbed by body, thus making it an inevitable element in the post workout diet. However, it is suggested not to add empty calorie substances like sugar but rather it is better that it is mixed with fruits. Fruit shakes, smoothies etc. are thus desirable on post-workout diet.

Nuts
Peanuts, Almonds, Cashews and other such food items have enough calories and they are helpful to satisfy hunger too. Snacks prepared with chickpeas and green grams and can make post work out diet more pleasing. The best example for this kind of food is Hummus, which is prepared using fermented Chickpeas. This delicious and creamy recipe is an amazing combination with Pita bread. Pita bread would also help you to gain sufficient calories required for your body. You must be at the same time cautious  of having Peanut butter because it contains high levels of fat and sodium.

Egg, Chicken, Fish
Egg, Chicken, Fish and other such products will help you to consume high protein easily. Intake of fruits and beverages along with these foods will help gaining sufficient calories too. Diabetic, hypertensive, and cholesterol patients should abstain from these kinds of foods.
