Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh Passes Away

According to reports,Rajya Sabha MP and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh passed away on Saturday at the age of 64. The veteran politician was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore over the last couple of months.Earlier, Singh had suffered kidney failure in 2013.
Earlier today, he had tweeted a tribute to freedom fighter and educationist Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his death anniversary and also wished Eid Al Adha to all his followers.
Once considered as SP chief Mulayam Singh’s close companion, Amar Singh’s prominence had deteriorated after he launched his own political party after leaving the Samajwadi Party.Singh resigned from all positions in SP on January 6, 2010 and was later expelled from the party.Singh resigned from all positions in SP on January 6, 2010 and was later expelled from the party.
Amar Singh was very active on social media despite his illness.He had recently tweeted that he won’t ever return to SP.
