Ronaldo, Messi tell fans to take utmost care and stay home in the wake of coronavirus pandemic

In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, football legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi shared their messages on social media to   support their fans, telling them not to be panic.

In   a message, Ronaldo reminded his fans about the importance of becoming conscious and giving utmost care in keeping the deadly virus away.

Rolando’s twitter message said: “It is important we all follow the advice of WHO (World Health Organization) and the governing bodies on how we handle this current situation.

Protecting human life must come above any other interests.

I would like to send my thoughts to everyone who has lost someone close to them, my solidarity to those who are fighting the virus, like my team-mate Daniele Rugani, and my continued support to the amazing health professionals putting their own lives at risk to help save others.”

Yet in another similar message, legendary footballer Lionel Messi also made a detailed message regarding the coronavirus pandemic on an Instagram post and it says,

“ It’s complicated days for everyone. We live worried about what is happening and we want to help by putting ourselves in the place of those who are going through it worse, either because it directly affected them or their family and friends, or because they are working on the front lines to fight it in hospitals and centers of Cheers. I want to send a lot of strength to them all.

Health should always come first. This is an exceptional moment and the indications of both health organisations and public authorities must be followed. Only then can we fight it effectively.

It’s time to be responsible and stay home, plus it’s perfect to enjoy that time with yours that you can’t always have.

A hug and hopefully we can turn this situation around ASAP.

These are tough times for everyone. We’re all worried about what’s happening and want to help by putting ourselves in the position of those who are having the worst time of it, either because they themselves are directly affected or their family and friends are or because they’re working on the front line in hospitals and health centres to battle against it. I want to send all of them lots of strength.

Our health must always come first. This is an exceptional time and we must follow the instructions of both the health organisations and public authorities. That’s the only way we’ll be able to fight against this effectively.

It’s time to be responsible and stay at home. What’s more, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy time with your loved ones, something we don’t always get to do. Sending you a hug and hoping we manage to overcome this situation as soon as possible.
