Shahid Afridi tests positive for Coronavirus

The former Pakistan captain,Shahid Afridi has tested positive for COVID-19. The 40-year-old shared the news on Twitter and requested fans to pray for him. “I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately, I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah,” he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier former Pakistan opener Taufeeq Umar had also infected with coronavirus. Now it is reported that he has recovered from the illness.

For the last couple of months Shahid Afridi was busy doing charity by providing essential goods for poor people who have been stuggling due to coronavirus lockdown.
Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh,Harbhajan singh etc. also supported Afridi in his charity work which has been conducting under his foundation, Hope Not out even thought cricketers in India was turned against Afridi after his remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
