Three Yoga Asanas For a Healthy Body And Mind
Stand straight with your legs close together. Now bend your right leg and place the left foot on the right thigh. Breathe in and lift your hands and place the palms together above your head, make sure that your hands do not bend. Breathe out and come back to normal position. This yogasana improves the balance between the body and soul, thus promoting the overall heath.
Sit down in Vajrasana and then bend your body backwards, holding the foot with the hands.remain in this position for some time, concentrating on the breath. Breathe out and come back to the initial position. This asana improves breathing and enhances the functioning of the nervous system, the pancreas, the kidneys and the liver.
Sit down in Vajrasana. Keep the knees apart and lift your hands while breathing in. Breathe out and bend forward to touch the forehead and the elbow on the floor. Remain in this position breathing slowly and come back to the initial position breathing out. This asana helps in improving the blood circulation in the brain and consequently is effective in improving the intelligence and memory.
