Trump to temporarily halt immigration in to U.S
It appears to be a golden opportunity for U.S President Donald to implement his controversial anti immigrant policies in the wake of coronavirus spread. In one of his latest tweets, president Trump has informed that he would be halting the immigration in to the country and will be signing an executive order in this regard.
“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States,” Trump said in a tweet.

Apart from this latest measure, Trump administration has already imposed travel ban on China, Europe, Canada and Mexico to prevent the coronavirus’s spread,along with the State Department’s last month decision to temporarily halt the routine visa services at embassies and consulates.
It is also reported that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has already suspended routine in-person services, but is still offering some emergency services.
Earlier, the New York Times has reported that the Trump administration will issue visa sanctions against countries that refuse to accept people the United States aims to deport, the latest restrictive border measure implemented amid the coronavirus pandemic.
