Line Investments & Property celebrates international yoga day with special events across UAE

Line Investments & Property, the shopping mall division of Lulu International Holdings Limited (LIHL), recently celebrated International Yoga Day 2025 with special events across their malls in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” focusing on bringing communities together for a day of wellness.

The campaign turned five malls into lively centers for health and well-being. At Silicon Central and Sharjah Central, early risers, families, and fitness fans enjoyed guided yoga sessions led by certified instructors. The event at Silicon Central was officially opened by Ahmad Ibrahim Busherin, President of the UAE Yoga Committee and Vice President of the Asian Yoga Federation, highlighting the importance of this event for national health goals.

The sessions also featured well-known Emirati yoga instructors like Mohammed Mostafa at Silicon Central and Mariam Altheraawi at Sharjah Central. These activities were supported by the Ministry of Sports – UAE, UFC Gym (Silicon Central Mall), and Gymnation (Sharjah Central Mall), showing the government’s commitment to promoting both physical and mental health across the country.

At RAK Mall, the celebration got even more exciting with a wellness and musical evening. This unique event combined yoga, live music, and interactive dance, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Held in partnership with the Indian People’s Forum, it welcomed 200 participants and saw the presence of officials from the Consulate General of India, strengthening cultural ties.

Meanwhile, at LuLu Mall Fujairah and Mall of UAQ, guests enjoyed peaceful yoga sessions, focusing on mindfulness and connecting with nature. These calm gatherings offered a chance for the community to relax, breathe deeply, and find stillness.

This series of events supports the UAE’s national vision for 2025 as the Year of Community, showing how group wellness events can help build stronger social connections and shared goals.

“International Yoga Day helps us achieve our bigger goal of creating spaces that encourage healthy lifestyles, wellness, and social interaction,” said Navaneeth Sudhakaran, General Manager – Dubai and Northern Emirates, Line Investments & Property. “Our malls are becoming important places for meaningful engagement, and this initiative is a step towards building healthier, more connected communities.”

The success of this campaign also shows how important experiential events are becoming in retail, offering unique value for both shops and visitors. As customer expectations change, Line Investments & Property will continue to invest in events that improve the customer experience and establish their malls as complete lifestyle destinations.
